Low Top Chuck Taylor All Star Converse
The Low Top version of the standard Chuck Taylor All Star was first produced in 1957. Although Charles H. (Chuck) Taylor joined Converse in the early 1920's the company sold mostly leather High Tops and did not have the vision to change the shoe to a Low Top until the 1950's. Today, the Low Top version is sure to be found almost anywhere being commonly worn by actors, artists, and even acrobats. In fact, Bob Dylan even bought a pair of Low Tops from us a several years ago.
